Leonta Williams is senior director of education at AAPC. She holds multiple credentials across several professional organizations and has more than 20 years of health information management experience as a coding director, auditor, educator, trainer, practice manager, and mentor. Williams is founder and past president of the Covington, Georgia local chapter and served as secretary on AAPC’s 2018-2021 National Advisory Board.

Stephanie Sjogren is a director of coding and provider reimbursement, working with payment integrity to ensure proper claims adjudication and to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse. Prior to joining Connecticare/Emblem Health, she performed provider audits and education at a women’s healthcare group. Sjogren has also worked with physicians and staff to integrate and use electronic health record systems effectively and to stay in compliance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ rules and regulations. Her areas of specialty are E/M, auditing, and clinical documentation improvement. Sjogren previously served as an officer for the Hartford, Conn., local chapter..

Marianne Durling has a very diverse background, having spent over 40 years working in almost every aspect of healthcare. She is currently a compliance director at a large academic medical center. Durling has a master’s degree in healthcare administration and a post-baccalaureate certificate in health information administration. She has authored articles for professional publications and speaks nationally. Durling has served on AAPC’s National Advisory Board, several terms as an officer in her local chapter, and on the HEALTHCON Education Committee.
