Hello everyone. I'm a newly certified CPB and CPC-A. About 2 months ago I interviewed for a Medical Billing/Coding Specialist position. I passed the coding test (which was only 1 surgical report for a surgical total knee arthroscopy), but unfortunately I was not hired. HR advised me the interview went well, however, I did not have the experience they were looking for.
I noticed this week they re-posted the same position on Indeed. Today, their HR department reached out to me and asked if I was still interested in the job.
I'm now scheduled for a "final interview", and my question is, does anyone have any advice on what I should expect in this final interview? Is it standard to administer a 2nd coding test? What types of questions should I be prepared for as a newly certified coder in the final interview stage? Thanks for your advice!
