Hi everyone! Posted this in the wrong forum I think, so I'm reposting.
I am really struggling with my vitalsource ebooks I bought from AAPC; when I search for a code and click on the results, there is no spot to click on where I can pull up the tabular guidance notes. No available includes/excludes 1/2, parentheticals, code first/additional code use etc. This is causing me to make a bunch of coding errors because I am unable to see unless I manually choose the appropriate subsection and scroll for a very, very long time to reach the guidance notes. Does anyone else have these ebooks that may know how to get around this issue? I am not sure if it's me or if it's a limitation of the software/ebook itself. They are the '25 AMA versions of CPT, ICD and HCPCS II. If it's sort of PDF-like, would it be reasonable to try and use codify or similar to practice searching the way the exam version apparently lets you pull the guidance notes up?
Also, has anyone taken their CPC with the ebooks yet? I'm curious to know how it went for you if that's the case! I'm physically disabled (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) with hand dexterity issues so I figured the ebooks would be an easier option for me (challenging to flip through physical pages due to fine motor.)
Thank you so, so much in advance!
