Hello, I work in a dermatology office and we are trying to get paid for a complex E/M using G2211, but it looks like only Medicare advantage plans are paying for them. Is there a code we can use that IBC and other insurances won't bundle?
Thank you

G2211 was specifically created by Medicare and became effective 1/1/2024. Commercial carriers decide their own policy on whether or not to accept these codes. There is no alternative code to use if the payor policy is to bundle. You would only be paid for the E&M service.
